"The world and loved one's may hate us but Jesus is the only one who does not hate us." In addition to instilling confidence in life among transgender people , Mission for transgender people was launched in 2018 through our UCMSI to realize that they are important in the community. Sis.Swirlin Rupavathi was appointed as the first transgender missionary in Karur. There are 22,364 registered transgender people in Tamil Nadu . Of these , very few are educated and recognized . There are more than 800 transgender people in Karur district alone . Through our UCMSI mission many churches have recognized them and loved them as fellow human beings .
