HISTORY
The Christian Mission Service (CMS) was involved in the missionary work along with their Residential Child Care Programme. UCMSI is the Brain Child of CMS and was established in the year 1990 with the objective of reaching the unreached. It started functioning as an autonomous body and is presently sending missionaries across all over India to proclaim the Good News to people who are yet to hear about the love of Jesus. The people who live in the remote villages and are yet to be brought to light, have now began to see the light through UCMSI.
HEADQUARTERS
The headquarters of UCMSI is at Pattanam near Ondipudur, in Coimbatore, a campus with trees and a retreat centre attached to it, where about 50 people can be accommodated and is nestled in a beautiful natural scenic surrounding. Many churches, organizations and individual prayer groups make use of this facility and organize various spiritual camps and retreats. It is indeed a blessing to see such spiritual activities in this delightful spot.
