HQ campus & Bethania Retreat Centre
The home of UCMSI at Pattanam, Coimbatore — where the mission is led, missionaries are trained and churches come apart to pray.
Our headquarters
The Bethania Campus at Pattanam, near Ondipudur in Coimbatore, is the headquarters of the United Christian Missionary Society of India. From here the Executive Director and the office team care for our missionaries and mission fields across Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Manipur, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.
- Mission office — administration, partner care, receipts and publications such as the Muthukkal magazine.
- Training — missionaries, volunteers and theological students are trained here before they go to the field. In September 2026, students of Kanyakumari Theological College began their mission training on this campus.
- Prayer — daily devotions and Sunday messages are prepared for our partners, and the mission fields are carried in prayer every day.
Bethania Retreat Centre
Like the home at Bethany where Jesus found rest among friends, the Bethania Retreat Centre is a quiet place to step aside, listen to God and be renewed. Churches, fellowships, youth and women’s groups, pastors and families are welcome to use the centre for:
- Spiritual retreats and days of prayer
- Prayer and fasting camps
- Bible study, Sunday school and VBS teachers’ training
- Committee meetings, seminars and mission-vision gatherings
Rooms, halls and meals are arranged by the office. Please send an enquiry with your dates and the number of people, and we will confirm availability and costs.
